The match has started, you open the app, and nothing works. Frustrating — and almost always fixable in under a minute. Below are the nine problems people actually report with Krira TV, in the order they come up, with the fix that works for each.
Start with the quick table, then jump to the section you need.
| Problem | Fastest fix |
|---|---|
| Stream keeps buffering | Switch to Link 2 or Link 3 |
| Black screen with sound | Change server, then lower quality |
| “App not installed” | Uninstall the old version first |
| No matches showing | Force stop the app and reopen |
| App won’t open / crashes | Clear cache, not data |
| Download blocked by Chrome | Tap “Download anyway” |
| Play Protect warning | Tap “Install anyway” |
| No sound | Switch server; check in-player mute |
| Video lags on a good connection | Drop from HD to SD |
1. The stream keeps buffering
This is the single most common complaint, and the fix is built into the app. Every match carries multiple server links — Link 1, Link 2, Link 3 and sometimes more.
A buffering stream usually means that one server is overloaded, not that your internet is broken. Tap the server selector in the player and move to the next link. Most buffering complaints are solved by this alone.
If every server buffers, the problem is on your side. Try these in order:
- Drop the quality from HD to SD — far more important than it sounds on a mobile connection.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see which is actually faster right now.
- Close background apps that are downloading or syncing.
- At peak time (evening kick-offs), servers are busiest — the lower quality stream is much more stable.
2. Black screen, but the sound works
Audio playing with no picture means the stream is connected but the video track is failing to decode. Do this in order:
- Switch to a different server link — this fixes it most of the time.
- Lower the quality to SD.
- Exit the player fully and re-enter the match.
- If it happens on every match, restart the phone once — a stuck hardware decoder usually clears.
3. “App not installed” when installing the APK
This is an Android error, not an app fault, and it has three causes:
- An older version is already installed. Uninstall the existing Krira TV first, then install the new APK. This is the cause about eight times out of ten.
- The file downloaded incompletely. Delete it and download again — a partial APK will always fail to install.
- Not enough storage. The app is small, but Android needs working room to unpack it. Free up a few hundred MB.
Always take the file from the official download page. Copies from other sites are frequently modified and often will not install at all.
4. The app opens but shows no matches
First, check whether anything is actually live. If no match is in progress, the list is genuinely empty — that is not a bug.
If matches should be running:
- Pull down to refresh the list.
- Force stop the app (Settings → Apps → Krira TV → Force stop) and reopen it.
- Check that you actually have a working connection — open any website to confirm.
- If you are on a very old build, update. Older versions lose contact with the servers; see the version history.
5. The app crashes or won’t open
Clear the cache — not the data:
- Settings → Apps → Krira TV
- Storage
- Tap Clear cache
Clearing data also wipes your favourites and settings, so try cache first. If crashes continue, reinstall the newest APK over the top.
6. Chrome blocks the download
Chrome warns about every APK downloaded outside the Play Store. It is a blanket warning, not a judgement about this specific file. Tap “Download anyway” and the download proceeds.
7. Google Play Protect blocks the install
Same category of warning, later in the process. Tap “More details” then “Install anyway”. Play Protect flags all apps distributed outside the Play Store, which is every APK on Android.
Krira TV is not on the Play Store because it streams third-party sports channels, which Play Store policy does not permit. That is a distribution restriction, not a security finding.
8. Video plays but there is no sound
- Check the mute control inside the player itself — it is easy to hit by accident.
- Check your phone’s media volume, which is separate from ringer volume.
- Switch server links. Some streams carry a broken or silent audio track.
- If Bluetooth headphones are connected, audio may be routing to them.
9. Lagging even though your connection is fast
A fast connection does not guarantee a smooth stream — the bottleneck is often the server, or your phone.
- Switch servers. Speed at your end cannot fix congestion at theirs.
- Use SD. On an older or low-RAM phone, HD decoding is the limit, not bandwidth.
- Close other apps. Video decoding needs free memory.
- Turn off battery saver. It throttles the processor, which stutters video.
Still stuck?
If you have worked through the relevant section and the problem persists, the most reliable reset is a clean reinstall: uninstall the app, download the current APK from the official download page, and install it following the installation guide. That clears the large majority of issues that survive everything above.
